Be Still and Know

This is a picture of Mt. Princeton in Colorado. It is part of the Collegiate Peaks. One time my family rode to the top on fourwheelers and what we found was great.

Almost at the peak of the mountain is a cabin.You can camp in it anytime.If you go around the back of the cabin, this is what you will find on it's outside wall:

Neat,huh?

To think that someone took the time to put it up.

So that we'll remember Who's responsible for such an amazing mountain. You just stand there and look at the view, and you know that God is real, that He's the Creator, that God is God.

Sometimes I think we forget  what God has done for us. Besides giving us beautiful things to look at.

So someone decided to put this up there:

to remind us of what else God has done for us.

He gave His most precious gift.

Jesus.

I don't think it should take a cabin and cross on top of a mountain in Colorado to help remind us of what God's given us.

We should remember to thank Him for what He's given us every time we talk to Him in prayer.
