Volleyball Tournament

This past Saturday my church's teen group went to a volleyball tournament. We had two teams and we were so pumped!

When we got there we found out we had to add players from another church to our teams. No big deal; they were great players.So we added them. 

Team one,my team, played undefeated all day. 

Finally it came to the last game. 

I wanted to win so bad!

But the other team was pretty far ahead in points. Our coach called a time-out and we got our act together. It seemed that the other team fell apart.

We kept volleying, slowly but surely catching up.And then...

It was our serve, game point. The other team's coach called a time out.

It didn't help them.

We served, they returned it,we hit it back, and they hit it out.

We won!

This was our church's first victory!

Team two came down from the stands and we were all giving eachother high-fives.

It was great.

But the main thing was what one of the girls on my team told me:

"I've decided that if we win we praise Him, if we lose we praise Him."

I'm pretty sure God honored her for that, and I sure am glad He did.
