Thoughts for the new year

This morning, when I was reading my Bible, the Lord showed me a verse that really made me think. I found that it was the perfect thing to post for the new year.

It was Psalm 65:11a.

"Thou crownest the year with thy goodness..."

The main thing that stuck out to me is something that Bro. Jarvis said this past summer.

God is good, all the time.

No matter what happens this year, God is good. His goodness is shown in everything.

No matter how bad the weather is this year, God is good.

No matter how many shootings there are this year, God is good.

No matter who dies this year, God is good.

No matter what happens in government this year, God is good.

No matter who is persecuted for their faith, God is good.

God is good, all the time.

Even when it is hard for us to see His goodness,

Even when it is hard to see Him,

God is still good.

We must remain steadfast in the faith, knowing that God is good, and that He loves us.
