{Back to Waterflow}
Last week was another trip to Waterflow, NM to help the Chittys. At least 64 were saved this week, praise the Lord! I took some more random pictures.
This is at Shiprock.
This is the tent that we set up between buses for the afternoon service.

At Four Corners again.
Best state in the world.
This is my first chalk drawing alone. I drew while Elijah preached....he gave me about 5-7 minutes to do it.
So this is what it turned out as.Very poor in my view.
On Wednesday we had some trouble getting back from visitation. The bus was so loaded down it couldn't get up the hill, so we had to unload halfway up and walk the rest of the way in the hot New Mexico sun.
Thought this was pretty funny.
When we went back to Aztec Ruins, I was Victorea's "mommy" for the day. She fit almost perfectly in all th doorways.
We caught a little Blue Tail Lizard outside. Victorea named him Aztec.
This was my second drawing. I had much more time and was able to finish it completely. I also changed the colors some. I made the mountains red and changed the cross to a lighter color orange with yellow. Originally in this picture (named "End of the Road") the man is supposed to be old and bent over because....he's at the end of life. But for the message that day there was nothing about the end of life, and it was to little kids so I changed that to a little boy.
Victorea leading a girl to Christ. That girl puts me to shame.
This was my final chalk drawing of the week, and my favorite. I think I improved each time. I inverted the highlighting and shadowing of the cross and drew a man instead.
Me, Victorea, and her balloon teddy bear that goes by the name of Lou Chicky Chitty.
I stepped out of the kitchen for a minute and when I came back Victorea was putting my camera down and had my sunglasses in her hand. "Put my sunglasses down!" I said. Then she said, "OH, and I didn't mess with your camera either."
This is what I found the next day.
It was a very long bus ride home. We stopped at Golden Corral on the way home, and this is what Bro. Steve did in the parking lot. 15 hours in a bus can only be so fun. Susannah and I crawled in the hat rack for a while. Surprisingly comfortable.
