{Welcome to Our Home-everything else}
It's good to see you're back again! Come on inside. We don't have much time, but I'll take you an a quick tour of the rest of the house. First we'll go back the hall to the bathroom. I tried to do mostly browns, because when I moved down here, my mechanic man already had tan towels.Unfortunately our rugs are grey. I like our shower curtain, though honestly it goes better with my sister's bathroom.
There's the counter top, and our brown hamper.
Okay, now, we'll stop on our way back out the hallway in one of the spare rooms. I don't go in this room too much. I use it for storage, and to iron. I'm not crazy about the walls...they're four different colors.
Here's the bed that's in this room...the cover came with the house, so that was pretty neat. It matches three of the walls...Don't mind Hancock there, he just likes to crawl under the beds...that box over there on the left is full of books. I don't have enough shelf space to put them out yet.
Alright, we're almost done...come on through the living room. Sorry about the mess, I've been slowly working on making Christmas cards. Anyway, here's the other spare room. I use this one for my craft room, sort of. Lately, though, it's been too cold to stay in there long.
Here's the nightstand beside the bed. I have most of my Romania things on this stand. My parents got them for me a long time ago. And the picture is an old one of a marching band that I found at a yard sale with my sisters.
I really like this curtain. I like the way it hangs, and the color navy is one of my favorites.
You may remember seeing this quilt before if you ever read my blog. I got it from a friend's yard sale. I knew it was pretty when I got it, but it looks even better on a bed.
Here's the desk where I might eventually work on stuff. Like the Charlie Brown alarm clock? So does my man. It plays Linus and Lucy when it goes off.
Well, I hope you're had fun looking around my house! We're finally all through. I've gotta go. I need to take Hancock outside for a little.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
