{just a jot}

Life here has been pretty crazy lately. We had no longer been back from the Juarez Project than we were on a plane headed to Milford, OH, where BPS is based. And we were sick in between these trips with some sort of cold or flu. Not fun.

We came home, and the house was filthy, the wash was piled high,the fridge was empty, and to add to it all, our septic backed up the day after we got home. But it was home. Someone up at Milford asked me towards the end of the trip where I'd like to eat for lunch. {this was after eating out most of the week} So I replied, "My house...". Hey, the Bible says speak the truth.

Needless to say, I am pretty happy to be home again, hopefully getting back to normal. For a little. Then we have some special visitors coming.

Here are a few pictures of what's been happening 'round here.
Of course, here's Hancock. Looking through our new screen door.
 Spruces up the place just a bit, don't you think?
 Bro. Terry gave us these bookshelves, and a new end table, which was very nice! I obviously don't have enough books though....
 This is the quilt I'm working on. Or was working on. I haven't had time to recently, but I'll get back on it soon.
 Things have greened up pretty good here! Our mulberry tree out front provides nice shade for Hancock when he's outside.
 And the peach tree has some young, green peaches. Can't wait to see how they turn out!
Happy Spring!

Oh! I really like the Screen door and the bookshelves. Does the door make a nice slapping sound? I hope so. I miss you.
