{Gardening in Texas}
Things have started blooming down here, and by things I mean mostly cactus and some bushes.
My mom brought down some cactus that she had so they could be transplanted. So we did that the one day, along with planting lettuce in that green pot. It's doing pretty well. I'm just hoping it doesn't die like my potted celery did. Oops.
A couple of weeks before, we had planted carrots, moonflowers, cosmos, and some wildflowers. A few things are jumping up here and there in the flower beds. My moonflowers are coming up pretty good, but they haven't started climbing yet. I think a bunny has been eating at them. I think there are carrots coming up, but I can't tell if it's carrots or grass. I guess time will tell.
The thoughts of gardening that have been going on in my head right now prompted me to write a poem about the garden we used to have back home. Well, the garden is still there, but I wrote about what I remembered it to be. I'll post about that soon.
