{last-minute trip}
Last Monday {not Labor Day} Mr. Mechanic Man and I were told we were going on a Seedline trip for BPS. Usually the Jimenez family goes on these trips, but Mrs. Ofelia had just had surgery and wasn't up to a two week trip. So Mechanic Man got nominated, and after some confusion was told that I could go along too. We would start out our trip by driving a truck and trailer with a cutter and scripture inside to Henderson, Nevada. Once there, we'd meet up with the director of Seedline and his wife, and hold a project in Henderson until Sunday. Then we would go to Wildomar, California and hold another project.

Right now we're between projects. Last weekend the church we worked with assembled around 13,000 Spanish John & Romans in one day and one morning. It was so exciting for me, as this was my first time to ever be involved with a Seedline project. God surely is great.
Along the way, we have had time to be tourists a little bit. While in Nevada, we got to see the Hoover Dam. Actually, we drove right by it on the way in, but the walls on the bridge were so tall we couldn't see it. That was a little annoying...

In between projects, over Labor Day, we had a few days with nothing scheduled, so we went to Oceanside, CA and stayed close to the beach. This was my first time in California and to the Pacific. I have officially crossed the USA and stuck my feet on the edges. I will say that I still prefer the Atlantic. Anyway, this was the view from our little shared apartment.
And finally, the view we passed as we drove into California.
I'll be back on later to post about the rest of the trip. For now, please pray for the next project. It begins tonight at church and will end on Sunday morning. Also, pray for safety for us on our way home and for Phil and Sarah on their way to another project.
