{the miracle}

Folks, today a regular Texas miracle is happening. 

Well, it's a miracle to me, anyway...

 That's right...it's snowing!

 And it has been since this morning! The only problem is that it isn't laying. But it's still neat to see snow in the desert!

 Oh, and my sister mentioned something about posting pictures of the quilt I'm working on, so here it is. Hancock is watching the snow in the background there. I made it from some old sheets I got from BPS. Since this is my first big bed quilt, and I don't have a quilting frame, I decided to go with something easier. So we have 12" squares, and I'm just quilting along the seams. I've thought about putting yo-yo's in the center of each block, but I haven't decided yet. That won't be for a while anyway.

 Okay, one last look at the snow for you!
