It's a new year, and I'm looking forward to this one. I don't know why. I guess I just feel more motivated this January. I set myself all sorts of goals to craft more, post more, learn more, and just generally grow more. And this year I'm going to try harder to complete that list of goals {which is still sort of growing...}.

One of the goals I set for myself was to post on my blog here more often. At first I was planning on at least every other week, and then I thought, why only every other week? If I can't come up with something every week, I could at least write something about what I'm currently doing.

So, for my first post of this new year, I'm doing a "currently" post. Simply because I didn't prepare anything beforehand, and here we are on Saturday already.

Oh, I'm doing great on these goals already, right?

reading >> "orphan runaways" by kristiana gregory. i found it buried in my bookshelves and couldn't even remember what it was about. so we'll see if it's a keeper or not.

watching >> i'm in the middle of "wives and daughters" right now
trying >> a whole bunch of new stuff this year, hopefully. i'm really wanting to learn some new skills
cooking >> probably not much today. that's usually how saturdays go for us.
eating >> nothing right now
drinking >> water, and lots of it
calling >> i just talked to trevor not too long ago...
texting >> no one yet today
pinning >> mostly home and crafty ideas. did i mention i'm on a crafty kick?
crafting >> a recipe clipboard for in the kitchen
scrapping >> i'm in the middle of a scrapbook of colorado pictures
doing >> attempting bigger things this year
going >> to church tomorrow
loving >> music today
hating >> today's  music. pop music is so weird right now
discovering >> a lot from the book of john
enjoying >> my devotional "bullet journal" if you wanna call it that {would you be interested in a post about that?}
thinking >> snow would be nice, but it's time to be realistic
feeling >> very, very blessed
hoping >> i can sneak in a little time to watch "wives and daughters" today while trevor's away
listening >> to some big band music from a friend
celebrating >> that reuben is learning so much right now. just this week he learned "thank you" in sign language and what sound a tractor makes. "puh puh puh puh puh"
smelling >> something stinky walking around here...
thanking >> my God for all He does for me
considering >> working on organizing the shed today
finishing >> pillow covers for the living room {hopefully} soon
starting >> hm...i'm not sure what this week. but something will get started!
