I know, another currently post? Lately it seems that's all I have time for. Especially today. In about an hour we're leaving to go camping {yay for Memorial Day!} but I know that if I don't sit down now and post, it'll be another week passed that I haven't. Which will be almost another month. So, here's what's been keeping me too busy to post.
{reading} the Emily of New Moon series by L. M. Montgomery. I actually just finished it last night. And while Emily is not one of my favorite Montgomery characters, I enjoyed the books WAY more than I enjoyed the creepy TV series they made out of them.
{playing} trains and cars and peek-a-boo with Reuben. Do they ever tire of that game?
{watching} my eyelids way too often lately. But I keep telling myself it's ok since I'm eight months pregnant...otherwise, "the Waltons". Surprised? You shouldn't be. My husband got me season 6 for Mother's Day! He's the best.
{trying} to drink pregnancy tea every day, but it's the desert, folks. So it's ninety degrees every day now and hot tea just sounds like extra heat.
{cooking} banana bread this week. I'm trying to bake sweets instead of buying them since it's cheaper and healthier for us.
{eating} lots of boiled eggs. And sharp cheddar cheese with olives. Where potato chips hit the spot when I was pregnant with Reuben, boiled eggs are the things with this little girl.
{drinking} water and sweet tea.
{calling} my mom at least once a week. I love those phone calls.
{texting} Trevor a lot lately while he's a work, and a friend back East
{pinning}  I think mostly baby stuff. And recipes.
{crafting} I recently finished a bunch of paper ornaments. Some to sell and some to possibly make into a mobile
{sewing} some skirts for Evelyn. It's really hard to find little skirts at thrift stores.
{going} to Cloudcroft, NM for the weekend
{loving} my little boy, even though lately it's been a battle of wills around here.
{hating} how tired I'm feeling in this pregnancy
{discovering} that time is always going faster than I like
{enjoying} hearing Reuben say new words, and learn to clean up after himself. I tell him to take off his shoes, and instead of just leaving them lay, he takes them and puts them on their spot on the shelf. It's adorable!
{thinking} I really need to wrap this up and bathe Reuben before we leave.
{feeling} ready to have this baby!
{hoping} for good camping weather, although rainy days in a camper can be fun, too.
{listening} to the sounds of fans and coolers and truck noises provided by Reuben
{celebrating} a chance to get away from the heat
{smelling} everything a little bit stronger these days.
{considering}making a few headbands for Evelyn too
{finishing} this post!
{starting} to feel like I forgot to pack something. I probably did. Well, there's always Walmart!

Have a blessed Memorial Day!
