reading | finishing up a Grandma's Attic book so I can read the library book I got today: A Country Doctor's Casebook. Also reading Mere Christianity occasionally with my Bible reading
playing | dollhouse with Evy quite a bit. It's her favorite thing to do lately
watching | 7th Heaven episodes when I'm up in the middle of the night feeding Clint. It takes me back to my grandma's house for some reason...I suspect we watched it with her when she wasn't watching Walker (haha!)
trying | to cook one new recipe a week
cooking | ham...I baked one using my aunt's "recipe" for potluck yesterday and it was delicious (if I do say so myself)
eating | Lotsa Crumb Cake by Christy Jordan- also made for potluck
drinking | water and wishing it was sweet tea all day long
calling | Clint's doctor to make his 9 month appointment. I can't believe he's that old already!
texting | my Mom about their trip out here, and my sister about talking this week
pinning | an assortment of clothes, quilts, house stuff and crafts. Anything that suits my fancy, I guess
crafting | not much, more like fixing broken toys and books
sewing | tiny pillows and blankets for aforementioned dollhouses
going | to the library and grocery store as usual. Did a little yard-saling last weekend. Would you want to see what I got?
loving | chubby baby cheeks and belly
hating | how fast time goes by
discovering | home videos are the best
enjoying | tiny adventures with my family (like fishing in the rain)
thinking | I need to get the kids in their rooms for quiet time
feeling | so undeservedly loved by God
hoping | to sew culottes for Evy with my Mom this week
listening | to lots of movie soundtracks lately
celebrating | the everyday-at least I'm trying to
smelling | the fresh smell of rain on grass
finishing | our life-chapter here at Knollwood
starting | a new chapter in a house outside of town. We'll be moving to a new house this summer...it feels bittersweet. I have loved this house and the times we've spent here, but I'm excited to get out into the country on our own land and teach the kids to love the woods like I learned to when I was a child.
