Hello! And welcome to my blog! My name is Olivia. Around here I mostly post about the life I live with my husband, Trevor, our babes, Reuben, Evelyn, and Clint and our dog, Maverick. Occasionally you may hear something that I hope inspires and encourages you, read something that I've written, and usually find some project I'm working on.

I like to read. I like to sew. I like to write. I also like to cook, bake and do puzzles. I'm learning to love my role as a housewife and my most recent role as a mama. I usually try to be a little crafty. And for a person who hates change, I rearrange the things in my home a lot for something different in my life.

I believe in simple, old-fashioned domesticity. And I think the most important times in life are spent with family. No one can ever take away the moments you spend sitting on the couch watching a movie together, taking a camping trip, or just laughing around the supper table.

I'm still searching for joy in my life. And mostly I find it every day. In prayer when I talk to my Heavenly Father. In welcome-home kisses for my husband. In funny sentences from my boy. In listening to Evelyn make her dolls talk. In watching Clint wrinkle his nose. In a spotless kitchen at night. In twinkly lights around our bedroom. In songbirds chattering in the tree out front. In curly hair. In flower bulbs growing in my yard. And in homemade spicecake, made from scratch.
