I love this quote!

Today my mom,brother,sister, and I helped my grandma plant peas and onions in her small garden. I love planting things that I know will later grow and be eaten!

I don't know if there's anything quite as nice as just going out to the garden in the summer, pulling a few pea pods and eating them just as they are; sweet and crunchy!

I don't really like onions, but if we didn't have them we'd have some pretty bland-tasting food.

We also worked on cleaning out all the dead leaves and plants out of the many flower gardens. I like helping things grow and getting dirty while I do it. After we were done working, we just stayed outside and enjoyed the sun!

There's nothing like working in a garden to make a day great!
