{Aztec Ruins}

These are pictures of Aztec Ruins. The town that the ruins are in is called Aztec, so the ruins themselves are not from the Aztecs. They were actually built by the Pueblo Indians and are around 900 years old.
 The building on the right is called the kiva. It was used for ceremonial purposes.
 Striped walls from layers of wood and rock.

 These were air vents.

 I'm not sure if this was a window or a door.
 This is inside the kiva. This kiva was actually rebuilt in the 1920's to look just like the original one. The roof was made of logs and could weigh up to 9 tons.
 This is Trevor in a doorway. We think the ancient Pueblos that built the ruins were midgets.
One more cow picture. This was as we were walking to the river with Victorea to have a cotton wood seed fight. Good times!
 The New Mexican sunrise on the day we left. This was the last picture I took of the Navajo trip.

Hmmm, Aztec ruins not built by Aztec's... this is why history is so confusing!

Midgets, most definitely midgets!
